The Department of Municipal Affairs (DMA) enables NS municipalities to submit the following reporting requirements to DMA as seamless as possible:

Pre-Construction Report (PCR)
Annual Expenditure Report (AER)
Capital Investment Plan (CIP)
Financial Information Return (FIR)
Statement of Estimates - Assessment (SOE-A)
Statement of Estimates - Budget (SOE-B)

Training Materials

Per the Section 3(5)(c) of the Financial Reporting and Accounting Manual (FRAM), a regulation of the Municipal Government Act, a municipality or village is required to establish an audit committee. DMA provides the following training materials for all audit committee members, who are required to complete the audit committee training.
